This make using Master Blend much easier than having to weigh out the powder each time. How long can you store the concentrate?

Hello Ruff (I hope I got your name right). Thank you for sharing and making it easy to learn. I am new at this and would like to ask how much do you mix and how often do you sue the nutrients on your plants. I plant to use it for outdoor on tomatoes and pepper planted in soil. I will also set up a little kartey system. please do keep the videos flowing so we can learn from you. And thank you for your videos and the time!

Well the Master Blend Concentrate has been a game changer for me as I started using it on most of my plants. My daughter moved back and I started using on her 20 house plants she brought with her and there is so much improvement on healthy growth. I also been adding the like 10 to 20 ML directly to rails on my RGGS and they showed much improvement. I believe more is not always better and I have been using an EC 1.5 for the plants. You mentioned that your plants in soil and I need to experiment more with that but I would see no difference than what I am feeding the house plants. How many plants are you talking and are you hand watering?
@anthonymattouk74392 жыл бұрын
@@rufflifehydro thank you for the reply. I started with 6 tomato and 6 pepper pants in the soil and similar in Kratky system. In the kratky system plant are doing good. Peppe is growing beautifully but tomato struggled and now doing ok. Witty the soil based tomato and pepper I was pouring 1 cup a day into each pot with 1 plant in it. Leaves turned brown and plant started looking weak. I reduced the quantity to 1/2 a cup and 3 times a week to see if it will make a change. Was just wondering if you had tried it and what the dosage would be. Anyways, thank you for taking the time to respond. I look forward to more of your videos.

@@anthonymattouk7439 Tomatoes in the krakty system is not a good idea as they require a lot of water once they start becoming big and the roots will take fill up the reservoir.. Pepper plants do fine in the Krakty system and good one to grow. Question, are the pepper plants and tomato plants that are in soil in the ground or in fabric pot, plastic pot?
@anthonymattouk74392 жыл бұрын
@@rufflifehydro Hi there. I have both - in the ground and in cloth bags. Trying to see which of the two works best. I will have to learn to put together a small drop irrigation system for the tomatoes, then. Living in Ghana, West Africa, we do not have access to items you take for granted in the US and I will have to see what i can get. Thank you for taking the time to respond and communicate. I am grateful.

@@anthonymattouk7439 Well as long as you got access to water you can come up with a system works.. Tomatoes just suck up a lot of water as I tried some of them this year in the fabric pots on concrete wall and they would dry out must faster then some of the other plants that were on the same dripline... The tomatoes did great using the NO DIGG method or on RGGS (run gutter grow system) as they have constant water from the bottom. Peppers also did really good in both scenarios. Both those plants need a lot of water as you now. Everyone setup is bit different but just keep experimenting and you will figure out what works good and not so good pretty quick!!

hi there, i'm using distilled water as no RO water here. How much should i use mls for each UK Litre as can not work out ratio from US Gallon to UK Gallon then to how much of each nutrient after mixing to put in UK Litre of water for using on plants please? keep up good work, our UK Gallon is different to US Gallon so gets confusing for my brain

Well go look at the new video I just posted today. It'll show you how to make 50 gallon concentrate in 500 ml. So the part of the video where I'm adding 10 ml's to the gallon you would add 10 ml to 3.785 liters. Yeah I didn't know you guys had a different amount of gallon to liters. I looked it up but I understand it. So my gallon equivalent is 3.785 liters. And that will give you an EC of about 2.3. you would only use that full strength for a flowering plant or something about the fruit. If you are just starting seedlings you would just add one to two ml's per gallon. For all my house plants I add 4MLs per gallon. And when I'm talking gallon that would be the 3.785 liters

@@rufflifehydro that is so good of you as my brain is getting old to work the conversions out from US Gallon/Liter to UK Gallons/Litres very confusing, i wish we all had same weights and measures. i have peppers going yellow leaves or pale green yellow and want to save them about foot high 12 inches so no idea what strength to give them and two others at 6 inch high even my tomatoes look slow growing and not happy brown tipped leaves

I’m wondering how this worked out for you and if after storing for a while it was still good with no floating particles or problems??? Every time I have premade some and put the MB and Epsom Salt in the same bottle it’s caused floating particles after about a week, basically a chemical reaction that goes wrong and makes it go bad.

have you tried combining the 2 parts afterwards for storage? I would imagine once dissolved it should be fine and then use 40ml in one shot.
@rufflifehydro2 жыл бұрын
You need to keep them separated until your ready to use. You can not mix the 2 parts together (A. Calcium Nitrate and (B. Master Blend & Epsom Salt) and store them as they will precipitate and start turning to solids on the bottom of the bottle. The question is how fast that reaction takes place, I do not know as I have not done it but I did see photos of people that did try it and it turned to white solid crystal on the bottom of the jar.. It as has worked out great for me with no issue the way I showed in the video. Good luck with your grow!

I have calculated the price per gallon below - $59.99 - ebay.to/3cZBMoV -------------------------------------- 10 lbs of MasterBlend 10 lbs of Calcium Nitrate 5 lbs of Epson Salt -------------------------------------- 453 grams in 1 pound -------------------------------------- 2.4 grams of MB are needed per gallon 2.4 grams of Calcium Nitrate are needed per gallon 1.2 grams of Epsom Salt per gallon 453 divided by 2.4 = Would make 188.75 gallons per pound 188.75 gallons x 10 pounds = 1887.50 total gallons $60.00 divided by 1887.50 = 0.0317 So if my math is right it would cost a little over .03 to make a gallon of full strength master blend.. The shipping is free and there is no tax as it comes with all 3 things that are needed..

We make a gallons of concentrate Gallon A Part A 160gms MB and 80 gms Epsom mixed together Part B 160 gms Calcium Nitrate 2 oz of each makes a gallon of ready to use nutes. During flower, we use 2.5 oz MB and 1.5 oz CN per gallon. JM2¢
@rufflifehydro Жыл бұрын
Yeah you can definitely tweak things out and make at a different ratio. But it make sense to offset the mixture saying during flowering and do what you are do and use more masterblend.. I will definitely try that out.. And also maybe so less of the MB during early veg stage.. If everything working I won't mess with it but if I have some things bolting it may be a sign to try less MB

What in the heck are you using that concentration on? WOW WEEEEEEE. Most are like 12/12/6 or, at most, 15,15,7.5 for 5 gallons of water while yours is 20/20/10 for 1 gallon which is MEGA, super-duper, OMG strong. Remember 1g equals 1ml and 5 gallons vs 1 gallon so yours is 100/100/50 per 5 gallons. Just fell over.

25gal equivalent (60gr) mixed into 500ml = 2.4gr per 20ml per gal needed. (60/500*20=2.4) 2.4gr diluted by 3785.41ml aka 1 gal is correct for the rate of 12gr per 5gal. I hope that's correct lol!
