I’ve explained how to convert your visitor visa or tourist visa to a work visa or Canada work permit in 2023 through a public policy issued by IRCC that allows foreign residents to apply for a work permit from within Canada. This applies to people planning to come to Canada on a visitor visa as well, and those who have managed to secure a Canada job offer with an LMIA. Your husband will get an employer-specific work permit, you'll get an open work permit, and your kids can get visitor/student permits as may be needed.
