I had a kink curb. I do not miss that bottom bracket at all man. Funny thing is, I managed it without all those tools he used in the video. I did it all with a wrench, allen keys and a flathead.

I did this to one of my old bikes, it had open bearings and every time it broke I’d take it to the shop then I wouldn’t see my bike for over a month, then my friend upgraded his bottom bracket so he gave me his old sealed bearings and cranks and never again did I go to the bike shop, plus they went out of business

I did the same about 2 weeks ago, was a lot easier than I was expecting! I did the a Shadow Sabotage sprocket, new brake line, Stolen Rampage free coaster, Kink Williams tires, Stranger Quan grips, and new plastic pegs all in one shot.

@@IamdanimalFg4 it's all part of the learning process! I'd rather have someone tell me what I did wrong than completely ruin something I just spent some hard earned money on. I'm pretty mechanically inclined when it comes to bikes, but I still have a lot to learn. Out of EVERYTHING on a bike I hate doing, the worst for me is chain tension and wheel alignment... I'm awful at it, it takes me forever, and I end up swearing up a storm at my bike, lol!

Always wanted to do this to my mongoose. Also, would you guys be interested in doing a sealed headset conversion? My mongoose has cups on the frame where the fork and headset goes. I think they can pop out like the bottom bracket.

Hey fellas...I got a bike here with a 1 piece crank...I wanna change it to a 3 piece crank.. the open bearings that came out have a cup outside diameter of 43mm...what's available out there to do this conversion as most bottom brackets are 51mm...Cheers
