How To Convert Your Blackstone Griddle From Propane to Natural Gas. If you already have a gas line piped out to your backyard, it's a super easy process. If not, and you want natural gas outside, call a licensed plumber with the natural gas qualification and have them install a gas line for you. If you are not comfortable doing this, definitely call a plumber.

I’ve seen these conversion kits before Kevin and actually thought about 😢what it would be like to change that out if a person had natural gas. We are a total electric house with the exception of our fireplace and cook stove top, which is propane driven. I’ve wanted to see about running another line back to the backyard, but it’s too far in my opinion for the propane tank that we have. The other option is to get another propane tank, I guess. Or just keep buying those 20 pounders! Take care brother. Hope you’re having a great week.

@@Mankitchenrecipes I’ve thought about getting a plumber out here to see. I think it’s silly to get another tank. My tank though is in front side of my house and my griddles are at the back side of back yard. Maybe 75 yards away?? 😵‍💫 Now the fire place is on back side of house and of course closer to my patio but someone would have to drill through the brick of the house. 🤷🏽

Forgive my ignorance, what happens if you just hook it up to a natural gas line?

Please don't. First, it probably won't work, and second, it could be dangerous or cause an explosion??? The orifice for natural gas is larger than propane and just doesn't work. They may sell just the orifices, but I'm not sure. The kit has what you need if you want to use natural gas. Thanks for checking this out, and I hope you have a great day!👍✌️
