Try contacting epic support. Another viewer had the same issue and they fixed it. I’m not sure why this happens. Just explain that you are trying to convert your nameless account and it’s asking for an email address.

@@juancarloscastillo7133 Ask for an account recovery. Fill in the information and in a few days that account recovery will be complete. 2 Emails from Epic will be sent to you, one saying that your account recovery will be complete, and one putting a link to reset your password. Hope this helps :)

Also have you ever played rocket league on the ps4? Is it the same rocket league account on both? If so then you already have an epic account. If not then you may have an epic account on the pc side and a console account on the ps4.

You cannot link a ghost account to an existing epic account. You can only upgrade your ghost account to a new epic account that it generates when you upgrade it unfortunately. This is the only way I’m aware of to convert a ghost account to be an epic account that I’m aware of.

So I figured out what I needed to do after fighting with epic games on email, I essentially made it a new account on epic games and Link the Xbox account to it. Remove all the other linked consoles from the old account and added to the new one and delete the old account on epic games

@@OpGhost. that shouldn’t happen… from your original comment you said you “linked” your account. In the steps from the video, there shouldn’t be any linking. You’re just converting your existing ghost account to a brand new epic account. If you already had made an epic account before, you cannot link your console account to that previously made epic account and get your items. If this is the case I would contact Epic support if you haven’t already.

Do the steps I showed in the video as this is required for what your trying to do. Then go to the apps and accounts tab on your epic account settings. I show this at 7:53 from there click the connect button on where it says PlayStation network. Log into your psn account. Then from there launch Fortnite on your ps5 and your account should show up.
