I have been into that very shop many times and you can smell that absolutely aromatic pilaf before you even arrive at the shop itself. Uzbekistan has such an addictive food culture it’s very impressive and although some of the street food isn’t familiar to people like myself, it’s very much worth taking the time to venture out and about in Uzbekistan to see and try it yourself. I have been to Uzbekistan six or seven times and the food adventures there are always memorably biblical.

I had the opportunity to visit and dine at this remarkable place, and the entire experience was truly amazing. We were impressed by the enormous central Kazan, surrounded by several smaller ones, each actively cooking plov with different types of meat. The atmosphere and arrangement were incredible, making it a truly unforgettable experience.

What is happening with rest of oil? Plov is fantastic, I have tried it on various places in Uzbekistan, but I am just curious what are you doing with rest of oil after all food is consumed? Do they use it for something else or it is just trowed away?
@baldbd644 ай бұрын
I was wondering what kind of oil is it?
@UZBEKISTAN-n4s4 ай бұрын

@@UZBEKISTAN-n4sthanks. I've never had a change to eat this dish. We also have dishes where everything is mixed in a steel pot and left over the coals for quite some time so the ingredients can get soft. We use less oil or where affordable olive oil but depend on the oil from the meat and the juice of the veggies to add flavour. During winter I make soup this way - meat is expensive hence i use plenty of beans (mostly the brown sugar bean), plenty of herbs, vinegar, etc. Whats nice you can make a lot and spread it over say 3 days - each new day just add additional beans. My question - I assume the taste of the left over oil sold to bakeries will have changed - is so does it affect the taste of tbe bread. South Africa. bakeries

People who complain about oil, look into your fridges ice creams, processed foods, fastfood and so on, either admire there efforts or just stfu
@categories50664 ай бұрын
So true. People have no problem eating chocolate, Nutella, and ice-cream, french fries, etc, which are like 20-30% processed fats, but complain about pilaf which would be like 5-10% fat as a meal
