I prefer cooking this cut low and slow. 220° F for about 1.5 hours, until it's 130° in the thickest part.

125 is usually the best for beef I like it off just before 130 I find it gives it a little bit more juicyness

You’ll learn it’s OK. You already know it was overcooked but what you might not know is you always slice meat against the grain?

More like 13-16 minutes in a 350° oven.
@19DESERTFOX918 ай бұрын
Thats a one tip lol. Looks good though
@JacobDeTi10 ай бұрын
You cut the wrong direction, also lower temperature and longer time in the oven will make it god-like.
@Koji-8888 ай бұрын
Yup. The last seconds of the video, you can see the long meat strands. It’s stringy and chewy if you don’t cut it against the grain. Still tastes good though. 🤣

Yo thats foul lookin 😂 you did that tri tip dirty. Overdone and you cut it with the grain. Dont fry a decent cut in oil, use some foaming butter with aromatics

Firstly that is medium BURNT!!! Second you should NEVER throw a beautiful juicy tri-tip in the oven nor a freaking stove top!! Always and ONLY either smoke it or grill it
