Hey 👋 yes it’s the same way how you make oxtail due to it being a hard meat and has to take time to be tenderize. I have a oxtail recipe you might like kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGnJc3SmiaiHo80 thank you so much for watching I’m glad you enjoyed all my recipes so far. Much respect ✊🏽

Is the meat from the hoof up (shin) or the actual hoof? Looks wonderful and want to try it.
@davidandJody3 жыл бұрын
It’s actually the foot of the cow that cut up into pieces. Yes from the hoof up. It’s really good, gummy and flavorful. I promise you’ll enjoy every bit of it! Thank you so much for watching I’m glad you enjoyed it. Much respect ✊🏽

Is there much meat on them? And does it taste like oxtail?
@royexcellentalexander8308 Жыл бұрын
Definitely not.. no.. the finish menu tastes like cooked glue tick and sticky.. but it carries a real look like oxtails.. very rubbery and mostly thick bones...l love the gravy more than the skin..
Not much meat but has a sticky taste it’s flavorful and nice though. Give it a try probably you’ll like it
@royexcellentalexander8308 Жыл бұрын
Not a favorite of mine.. Way too much fat.. and l'm a high cholesterol person.. so l have to stay away from stuff like that... very popular in Jamaica restaurant..lve eaten it before.but it's the gravy l like

Use gloves when seasoning meat. Even tho you are not cooking for me, your audience may think it's ok to do that. What if they just used the toilet and did not wash their hands.
@empresschronicles1749 Жыл бұрын
What does that have to do with the poster? Usually island people not cooking with gloves unless they're working in a restaurant. Providing we're using our washed, clean hands that should be sufficient when preparing meals at home. The audience can use their own discernment to know what method is best for them when cooking.
