stellamaris kaweu yes most definitely....mutton, beef or etc...will work just as well... Just remember for meats like beef/mutton you have to boil them until tender soft👌

Hey Diana...short answer is yes... Though it does depend on the rice and where you buy... For most basmati long grain packaged rice I dont always wash my rice it always turns out fine😊
