Hey their Thanx for the recipe 😊 But I would like to give you quick tips on the dry beans it's best if you sock them overnight in water that's twice the amount of the beans you have added in a bowl. Or sock them 3hrs prior cooking. Pour out that water wash them and start the cooking add a little piece of rock salt it makes them softer. I mean little rock salt otherwise it will turn the beans black. Cook till they are soft pour out that water and do the desired way you would like them. But thanks for the video and effort beans are not an easy game😊

It's great to know how things are done from scratch so that when you find yourself in a place where there are no ready mades, you can just cook what you have. It also tastes much better.

Hey there. I appreciate your video tutorial🙂. Is there an alternative to soda bicarbonate when preparing beans? Otherwise, thanks for the recommendation🙏
@AmunaFoods
@AmunaFoods 6 ай бұрын
Not that I know of outside Uganda. However, I know of friends who do not use bicarbonate of Soda at all and still get to enjoy the beans. The main disadvantages of not using the bicarbonate of Soda are: 1. It takes longer for the beans to soften, 2. It can give you a lot of gas in the stomach. I hope this helps.

As a Ugandan iam offended by the sodiam bicarbonate being added
@AmunaFoods

It's to reduce gas and bloating when eaten. Also helps the beans cook better. No need to be offended. They are still just as delicious!
