as someone from saskatchewan (canada) i can absolutely confirm that ketchup cake is a rare delicacy made by only the best chefs, as for the poutine we usually need to dig it out of holes but it's possible to make it yourself if you're a canadian

The size of Spiggs pice of cake reminds me of the one time I let a friend of mine cut a chocolate cake I baked. The cake was super dense and chocolatey and this madwoman just cut it into 5 pieces. It was a 26cm diameter cake. Needles to say none of us needed a second slice xD And Spigg you should do this more often, especially together with Meghan and Paige. You guys are so entertaining together ^^

Once my family went up to Canada for a Christmas trip. The only thing I remember is that every single food place was closed when we got to our hotel. Every food place except for... a movie theater. In our hungry desperation, we went to this theater and got some poutine from the concession stand and promptly left to our hotel. To this day, it was the worst thing I've ever eaten. I made it a couple days after this stream and it turned out really good, i messed up the frosting the first time but then i remade it and put something in it i thought would be good. I put the same type of milk mixture used for tres leches cake on it and used a premade frosting from the store (still cant do frosting lol) and it came out really good, i ended up feeding it to people at my school because i wanted to be nice (they said it tasted amazing btw) (thank you spiff for helping me start baking) I also have a picture of it but idk how to show spiff :(
