Kuka soup is one soup I hated growing up.
Who would have thought it will end up becoming one of my favourite soups.
I often tell people - if you dislike a food, maybe, just maybe it's because you haven't discovered a way to cook it that you will love.
That's my story with Kuka.
Different tribes have different ways of preparing it.
And then - there's my way of preparing it.
An amalgamation of sorts.
Try it my way.
But also feel free to tweak anything you want.
Cooking is too versatile to be restricted to just one method.
By the way, do you know Kuka is Baobab Leaves?
Very healthy!
Do you eat it in your place?
What is it called?
With its beautiful leaves and its abundant fruit, and had enough food for everyone

In some parts of North East Nigeria, it is made without oil and then ghee(mayin Shanu) is added at the point of eating. It comes with its own flavour and aroma that is very attractive to all of your senses 😁

Looks yummy, this tip of taking it off the fire comes in handy. Pls, what did you do with the dry fish? You didn't return it into the soup.
