I must say, that I truly appreciate how you stayed on point with your recipe, and didn’t prattle on about unnecessary junk. Some of these (other) videos could benefit from viewing your style. They either talk way too much, or they don’t say (anything) at all, which is totally useless in the long run. This is my first time preparing this dish, and I have a clear and concise understanding of what to do. Thank you very much indeed.

Very nicely paced talking throughout the video. Fair amount of supplemental information. No BS about anything else other than the main topic/purpose of the video. Overall 10/10 for this video.

Best video I have seen so far. The reason mine came out mushy is because I soaked it before hand then added 2 cups of water, but you live and learn.

I cook quinoa every week. Will do your method next time as is so easy. I make it using 1/2 water & 1/2 either organic chicken or veggie broth & some grass fed butter for more flavor & good fat.

Honestly, the slightly burnt quinoa looked quite yummy to me. It made me wonder whether toasting quinoa before cooking it would work as well. Thanks very much for sharing your process 👍

Do you have to cook it before adding it to soup
@DetoxinistaRecipes
@DetoxinistaRecipes 6 ай бұрын
No, it will cook as the soup cooks! But do be sure to add extra liquid since it will absorb some of the soup liquid.

It is not the end of the world. Try a few different variations in how long you need to keep on the stove with flame and without flame and find the settings that work for you. Depending on the quinoa type, water hardness, flame strength, how long quinoa was soaked etc.. everyone will have slightly different results and need to adjust accordingly. That is called common sense. The important thing is the person called it out on what to look for.

Weird that she doesn’t know how to pronounce quinoa. “Qui” is not pronounced as “cue.” It is either “kwee” or “kee.” Quinoa is pronounced “Kee-no-uh."
