You didn't say how much coconut milk one should use? You say 2 cups of bulga, but the milk amount you did not say! I'm a novice cook, so excuse my ignorance! Excited! self taught eager to learn, u-tube student! Thank you!

I was told that there was a stigma of being poor in Jamaica back in the days if you eat bulgar; but when I attended north street primary in the 80s there was a nice fat lady who was the canteen cook; every day she made the NICEST bulgar I EVER tasted in my entire life!!! 🤤🤤🤤 I wonder if she use to put the nutri milk in deh mek it suh sweet??😋😋

I've heard my parents talk about this. I took it upon myself and bought some. Funny, I've never cooked it before, but somehow, I did the exact thing u did to prepare it...I have no but one complaint...it's the same for all first timers

Can't wait to try. I like to do veggies, with quinoa, boneless skinless chicken with olive oil and 🍋 lemon. This looks amazing. I will mix this with my Garden veggie salad

Tried it O'Day and it was so good. However you have to reduce the water. If u use to use equal portions to cook rice u have to reduce it Abita for bulgar. I cook under low fire for 45- 50 mins and it's lovely.

I didn't know you should wash the bulgar I'm still New in cooking it I like it very moist nice 🎉
@lucillespencer82362 жыл бұрын
You seem to have either soaked or rinsed the bulgar at the beginning. You didnt say. Then you dropped in seasonings please help us with which ones (never cooked this before, sorry) Also when you cover with the foil do you turn the fire OFF or low? because some foods do continue to cook when the fire is off. Please help. Thank you. It looked great!

Hey dearest..what does the Foil paper do ..If you don't mind answering..Thanks in advance
@AuthenticPlantbasedEats4 жыл бұрын
Hi! The foil helps to properly stem the bulgur. You can also just put your stove on low heat once most of the liquid is reduced to steam as well.
