Hi Math Sorcerer! I'm a member on your Math Sorcerer youtube channel, and i'm looking to purchase your course on proof writing, yet have some questions about it. I have a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, but have always loved the mathematics involved in my field. My formal mathematical prerequisites are, calculus 1-3, and some basic linear algebra. The reason for my purchase consideration, is I bought an introductory level topology book via Dover Publications, specifically "Introduction to Topology" by Bert Mendelson, yet, I am having some trouble reading it due to my lack of proof writing abilty. I was wondering if your course would contain the material necessary to self-study introductory topology, as an individual first diving into theoretical mathematics? I have grown to love collecting science, and math books in my spare time just as you do, and believe I have developed a sufficient maturity level to tackle more complex reads (at least in Chemistry) coupled with a determined mindset. Please share any thoughts or suggestions you may for my concerns about the course, and I look forward to learning with you! Thank you.

The book by Velleman can help you, and also my courses on set theory and the one on functions . Those together with the Velleman book can improve your proof writing. Usually people study advanced calculus and abstract algebra before topology, so you could explore those courses as well. Anyways the Velleman book can help you learn to write proofs really well, and then you can use that for those coureses mentioned. Hope this helps:)
