@@JackiesSouthernSoul I heard that Himalayan pink salt is made from petrified giants tissue if you look that up here on KZbin there are videos of it. The walls in these caves look like meat fibers. I haven't use that salt in many years. I use regular sea salt or better yet you can use Celtic sea salt it has beneficial nutrients. That's up to you what you want to use ma'am. A channel called mudfossle university can give you some information on these petrified giants and the giant trees that were cut down. Very interesting. There's more to this earth than we all know. Just giving you some information. Just came across your channel.

For the injection fluid, i melt butter add grated garlic in a heated pan, so the garlic flavor is infused into the butter. That is what I inject my turkey with. So looking forward to eating. Happy Thanksgiving all.

You did a beautiful job cleaning your Turkey. Your bird got a good work over!!!! Got a massage and also a spa day!!!!! Lol 😂😅😂😅. Im at my daughters celebrating her 38th Birthday. She always loved my Cornish hens when she was young so I bonded with her today showing her how I make my cornish hens. Preparing them is just like I do my Turkey except different in size. Im looking forward to preparing my Turkey. When my children were young my youngest son always couldnt wait to get up early Thanksgiving morning to help me clean the Turkey!! Hes my artist now!!!

What beautiful memories with your family. It’s always the best memories that firm around cooking in the kitchen with family. It’s the one thing that I miss most of my Sisters. I love Cornish Hens too but my family gets put off by the size of the birds. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

Don’t forget to remove the innards that are in the back by the thighs…some processors leave that in

I check every turkey throughly even from way back when I was younger and just starting to cook turkeys. I can’t believe some people don’t wash theirs and check inside. This video is really for the beginner cook who might not be comfortable with a turkey yet. Don’t forget we have to do the same thing with whole chickens too👍🏽

What does the lemon juice do, I've always used salt and vinegar
@JackiesSouthernSoulАй бұрын
Lemon juice does the same thing that vinegar does.
