I bought an extra AC for the room I work/game/content create because it was unbearable. I now sit in a comfy 72 degree room. When the ACs go off you saw the problem 🤣

The most important takeaway is to keep your PS5 sufficiently cool by using airco and other means to keep the sun out of your home. This extra cooling device can be helpful if you really need it, but may Caswell have your airco blow near the PS5.

Had to wait a month for a faulty scry arctic cooler fan, and now I am not hearing back from them on a warranty replacement. This sucks..

I have a box fan behind my system and yes a PS5 cooling system of some sort is detrimental

I have searched all over the internet is this real? Lol I need a fan everytime I try to play a ps5 base game like spider-man 2 10mins later overheat shutdown no warning where can I get this lol😂

Replace the liquid metal... I used to have the same issue, the external fans help, but since replacing the liquid metal, i can play the entire game without any additional cooling. i keep my external fans that i purchased turned off and i played spiderman 2 for over 7 hours continuously

@@MrFear9081 before i repaired my PS5, it would shut off after every mission... After repairing, i could play continuously for hours on end without any issues

@@Realpreshaanb well my shuts off when if overheats I have a cooling station the screw is like loose it won’t let me screw it all the way in so my ps5 overheats and I need to get the cooling fan if it helps

@@MrFear9081 yeah that's the fact that the heatsink isn't making contact with the APU because of dry spots in the liquid metal

Welcome to the DLG!! Haha that that would be awesome if it helped out. The only way I see it helping a small amount is if your room temperature is control like at 72 degrees.

I think its a bit silly having 3 different fan sizes on the bigger part instead of just having the same size of fans. The kiwi home cooling fan is among the best. Dropping temps by 20 degress

You just proved the same thing Nexus did, these fans are gimics. You dont put a fan on an exhaust blowing in room temp and expect it too cool down and no one is going to set there PS5 next to an air conditioner to cool it down. You can have a room at 70 degrees and a fan on the PS5 but it's not going to lower the temp but maybe a degree or two unless there is a cooling system like the ones on PC's.

Dude, you live Hot .... My place stays at a nice 69° ... That's It! Anything above 72° is Anti Bueno- That's just too damn hot. No reason to Sweat where you Sleep.

Here's a helpful hint: If you have an AC unit and that's it, buy yourself a Hi powered Floor Fan and position it so that your AC blows directly into the Floor Fan and point it up at your nearest ceiling fan. You can cool down the AC further still by soaking the Front air intake vent with some Cold Water using an ordinary Spray Bottle. Most AC units are only able cool down to around maybe 68° ... And that's it. And The Warm Dry Air being pulled into the AC does NOT help this whatsoever... In other words, your room temperature will Never reach it's full potential because of this one simple fact... and most likely NEVER Get Below 73°... But You can Easily surpass this and cool your place down BIGTIME simply by adding Ice to the water in that spray bottle and Soak that AC's air intake Real Good - And There Ya Go!! ACTUAL COLD AIR FOR ONCE .....in just a Fraction of the Time. You're Welcome!

This method works Exactly the same with Swamp Coolers too!! Ice Water in a Spray Bottle and Soak the Air Filter Like You Mean It!!

your temperature measuring device is useless! quite simply because if you take the temperature behind a fan it will necessarily be less hot. And this object is useless because the hot air outlet is not behind the ps5 but on the rear corner.

There are visies showing almost complete backside is the warmest. This device sucks the air out. So it will help a tiny bit
