How to Copy & Paste Multiple Items Across Devices on Windows 10

Just discovered by accident. Useful with Snip & Sketch to capture many screen shots from a presentation and paste them to notes later. Also PrtScn shortcut option is neat

I have used the Win+V option for many months. I have documents that have references from another source. I go to the source, scroll down, doing COPY on each one. Returning to my document I have all these separate entities on my clipboard. I PASTE one at a time, the DEL off the clipboard. This means the next item needed is always at the top. Remember the order of the clipboard CUT is in reverse of the task (e.g. last one is at the top). This many mean it is better to CUT in reverse order of intended use. I seem to recall the limit is 25 items, but that is never a problem for me. This has been a big time-saver. Rather than going back/forth to the source, then to document to paste, then back to the source for the next copy, then to the document to paste, ... I can put many items on the clipboard at one time, then paste them off the clipboard one after the other. This feature works in or out of WORD - any cut will go to the clipboard (e.g. link addresses).

Thanks for this tutorial I've been wondering about the clipboard and how to use it properly. Copy and paste is straightforward. I like the shortcut keys. I didn't know how to use the Windows logo key. The clipboard was a mystery. It would be useful to have a clipboard button on the ribbon. Your tutorials are great.

Thank you - need short videos that address a feature (but don't stop the tutorials). something I struggle with in Word is 1. Caption for tables, figures and photos. Word seems to give one style for all. Causes problems in layout. Then cross reference. I have to click to cross reference. click and scroll between photos, figures and tables. Click and scroll between whole, caption number etc. and then click again for above or below. so time consuming and so lame. I can't believe Word can't make it easier.

This is great for copying passwords and other sensitive data. If the "Sync across devices" feature is enabled, they are automatically stored on a Microsoft server.

Something else I want Windows to do I have been telling Microsoft..... When I told them I wanted multiple desktops the concept they put under Taskview at the top was not what I had in mind...... Shine if to your right on your desktop off the right side was another area where you could also put icons over the next picture in your windows theme you are using. To the right of that one would be the next picture in the theme and so on all full areas where you could save icons on another desktop area. Of course your theme pictures would keep rotaing through these desktop areas like a carosel all Daisy chained together. This a feature needed much. Instead of just a desktop folder you would have subfolders on the inside. Desktop 1 desktop 2 desktop 3 desktop 4 desktop 5 subfolders for each of these areas to save your icons. This would work like how on smart phones you have these off areas for putting icons. It would be limited by the number of pictures in your theme you are using..... Also I'm Microsoft Edge you should be able to drag anything in your history or favorites to the desktop or a folder to make a internet site or internet page short cut. Also you should be able to drag one of the circular bullet icons in your inbox or sent folder from any account to the desktop by dragging one of these emails by the circle that represents it to the desktop or in a folder to create a special email document that can only be opened with your mail app. Also I want the feature where I can put a picture on the desktop or folder that I copy online and when I right click on the picture icon I should have the feature called create shortcut from picture icon and I could type or paste a internet link or loc file path link there and boom you would have another picture icon like that on the desktop or folder except instead of it opening to the picture on the desktop it would open to a internet site or page on the internet or a file on the computer. I want the ability to finger swipe upward on the display on the left and see a programs list all with giant size icons for each program game or app and if I swipe up the middle then icons for internet sites in history and favorites and if I swipe upward on the display on the right then a list of all the emails in my inbox. I want a document and text file program viewer just as I currently have a photos app. Again if I swipe fast from right to left on the display without touching the edge of the display on the right it would go to the next desktop theme picture where I would have other icons stored. Desktop 2 and so on. To go back would just require a quick long swipe from left to right across the display without touching the far right leading edge of the monitor because if you did swipe from there touching the leading edge on the left it would pull out task view as you know. These are features needed right away. Super power charge windows right away. In Microsoft edge at the top of a new window the top sites in the squares should not be just that few but there should be 500 of them possible that when you swipe on these boxes from right to left it pulls the others on the list into view sending others off the display from view to the left. When Microsoft aggregates everyone's top site choices then using this information Microsoft could publish a magazine internet site entitled Microsoft's top sites which would be successful just like fortune 500ahazine is.

Unfortunately my wife and sisters' Win10 system proprietary to their work computers, it does not work on Win10...could it be their employer has disabled it somehow?
