I’ve always done this with my weenie dogs. I did research and learned they can get bad back problems, so from pup to adulthood I picked them up like this everyday. My boy that passed away was 14 and had no back problems. Now I just have my girl, and she’s 15 and is doing fine. If she makes it to March she’ll be 16 🥰.
