It's a brilliant explanation - a lot of these kinda problems come from that early move to the left side... Thanks, William

Thanks Larry this clears it up. I was looping my trail arm into the rib cage and viola it was what I should not do. I felt the correct loop just like you said. This helps because when we watch a lesson you may have the person exaggerate a move only for us to think it is the right way. Nice job.

added 20 yards per club with the loop!! thanks larry

👏 I just figured this out last week. On the top of the swing I just make sure my right elbow is in front of right ribs and viola it shallows or loops the club

Very well explained BUT the haircut has to be one of the worse in GOLF. Looks like a talking SKUNK.

Excellent explanation, I’ve been hitting the ball so fat from that folded position and getting stuck inside

When I’m swinging it my best I do this smoothly. My stock swing is about a 5-7 yd push draw but I can pull it back a bit flatter with the same flatten and move right and hit it very straight to a slight fade.

Awesome video! Thanks for this detail. You seem to have a nice Swing Catalyst. Are you planning to do some videos with it to show us a comparasion Pro vs Ams, rotation vs slide, etc. so we can get a visual on the weight shift and pressure? Thanks!

Another great video. Your drills have helped my swing tremendously. Thank you! Off topic sincere question: Have you noticed the light orbs in your videos? For this video, they appear around 0:45 and 0:56. Edit: 0:10 to 0:15 at the top of the screen also

never noticed it till now, probably light reflection on dust particles from my windows behind the camera

This is exactly what I do when trying to get the club shallowing in transition.

Larry: good explanation but can you let us know what looping the club does for the swing? I have a decent iron game, so not sure this is something I need to focus on.
@LarryCheungGolf4 жыл бұрын
I think I talk about that in other videos uploaded earlier =)

@larry - Great videos, I’ve noticed a big improvement with the loop. One question - do you recommend a slight wrist hinge in the takeaway with this? I did see another one of your videos where “p2” had a right hand hinge to keep club head square but don’t recall if that involved any looping. Thanks!
@LarryCheungGolf3 жыл бұрын
the loop is a downswing move, what happens at P2 is just the takeaway, they are completely separate things =)

So would straightening trail arm be a good feel for someone over the top?
@LarryCheungGolf3 жыл бұрын
definitely not, you need to loop it if you are over the top =)

So, trying this, I'm finding with the wedges and shortest irons, I'm either getting a bit of a push or it's leaving the face open and shots are high and short... do you have any recommendations for adjustments?
@LarryCheungGolf4 жыл бұрын
just try closing your face more in the downswing =)
@andyv62994 жыл бұрын
Don't need to loop it when you got flat back swing it comes in shallow
@LarryCheungGolf4 жыл бұрын
flat backswing does not mean its guranteed you will shallow downswing =)

Makes sense but why don’t we see pga players looping like it’s shown here because the shaft is almost parallel to the ground. Is this to exaggerate to get the feeling?
@LarryCheungGolf4 жыл бұрын
Its an exaggeration and an intent to get people swinging better =)
@jeprotable3 жыл бұрын
nevern seen any pro men or women do this looping...

ive never seen any pro men or women be way outside in and struggle with hitting the ball where they want it to go like most weekend amateurs do either =)
