Great video and it made me subscribe. QUESTION: at 8:10 you talk about putting the CAGE code of the manufacturer. If the manufacturer has a CAGE code, then they are probably going to bid on this item. Of course, their pricing will be better than the quote they give me - so how can you win the bid? Can you explain or make a video on how you get around this in order to win a bid? Thanks

We try to find MFGs that do not bid in government contracts. Many don’t. Just have to find them.

You’d have to find a company that would certify you. It’s quite the process, but it’s worth putting it together. Helps keep you organized and efficient.

Q: ISO-9001 applies to the manufacturer, so why does the supplier (you) need to be certified as well?

As the main contract holder, you are required to have an AS/ISO cert. This is for Critical Safety Items. I would recommend getting the cert. It puts you in a higher level among other companies bidding.
