@@Amor_fati.Memento_Mori np mate, You know for example "book"(книга) is feminine. And it ends with "a". So when we are counting it, we should use the feminine form of number for it. "Odna kniga" (одна книга) means one book. However, only one and two have genders and other numbers are genderless. (Every number which has 1 or 2 as the last digit should still go with the rule tho.) Двадцать одна неделя: 21weeks.

Counting is one of the hardest thing in Russian language. I mean Russian language hasn't united(uniform) rules. It is very hard to learn correctly even for native speaker. Я имею в виду спрягать числительные. То ли правильно - нет четырёхсот, то ли четырёхста. Нужно учить отдельные правила именно для этого слова. В общем, до 10 считать на любом языке мира несложно. А вот спрягать большие числа, голову ломают и ошибаются даже native speaker.
