This was so much more helpful than I was even expecting! I feel like I subconsciously knew a lot of these details already, but I hadn't actually acknowledged them or said them out loud. Like that stingers can't be stumbled on walls, bruisers don't charge, and reekers don't explode on their own.

One thing you forgot to mention about the stinger. The stinger has tracking shots that go where you are going, so you can avoid the shots but changing your movement everytime they fire. So if you are strafing left, when they go to fire strafe right and repeat you will avoid every shot. Its a good way to avoid damage when nothing is going on while you are trying to take it out.

Most of the time, you will probably get hit by this though. In the heat of battle, when there's a lot to focus on, the stinger has a way of just creeping up on you. Next thing you know, you're either downed or almost downed from a stinger's shot.

If facing "armored" anything, and you have the choice, knock off the armor and hit the weakspot (unless you're trying to stumble) Even with the extra shots to knock off the armor, it's just faster with almost every weapon to shoot armor off and hit the weakspot than to shoot the body.

Something I noticed while playing as well in regards to the Reeker class, the Reeker calls a horde as you mentioned BUT the Exploder and Retch seem to attract nearby Ridden if they pop too close to a player. It won't call a horde but it'll attract any Ridden in the vicinity. Something that seems to not get mentioned anywhere in the game but I notice it happening all the time.

Tallboys: Charger*, Bruiser, Crusher. Spitters: Hocker, Stalker, Stinger (Honestly, the stalker doesn't really fit the bill at all as it does something completely different). Bloated: Retch, Exploder, Reeker.

well nice to know bullet pen doesnt work vs armor, but one thing im wondering is does high calibur rounds "200%" bullet pen allow u to hit a tall boy or bruiser from the front and hit the weakpoint that way, or would it bypass the weakpoint and just hit a new entity

since its not a weakspot , it doesnt do more damage, i ran Jim sniper riflle build with knowledge is power and the only way to do more damage is the weakspot.

stingers on nightmare/ no hope can absolutely mess up your run, one time we had monstrous stingers on no hope, we got absolutely messed up, they did like 40 dmg a hit, and attacked super fast, and they were always hiding into a bush

There's a card called "Knowledge is power" lets you see damage values and deal extra weakspot damage.

He was using a second account at Fort Hope. As of the December patch, you can go outside towards the swamp at the firing range and there's a sign you can interact with to spawn as a ridden

if you kill an exploder, does it increase the explosion damage with bomb squad? doubtful but it would be cool if blowing one up counted as "your" explosive damage done, consequently increasing their explosion.

I TRY ALL THE TIME TO TELL PEOPLE TO RUN FROM TALLBOYS OF ALL KINDS . . . it's so frustrating. Devs should let me hyperllnk this to people. What if, for the Retch, instead of the brain like the stalker, they give them a gullet, that inflates when their acid bath is full. Give them less hp or make the weakspot damage higher on it, and I think that might be cool. They're less vulnerable after vomiting but highly vulnerable while able to and until they're emptied.

Wow only 3 actually different versions of special ridden, with 2 different modifications for each of the three. That’s literally dumb as can be like wtf happened to bringing back the smoker in a revamped version? They just made two versions of a spitter, two versions of a charger, and two versions of a boomer. They just morphed the hunter and jockey into the stinger class and called it a day. That’s lazy enemy design :(
