I run a Karlee shotgun debuff/scavenger assist build to help out the teams of randoms who decide to purchase an expensive toolkit when I have two in my inventory.. and a big boomstick to blow away all the mutations. that "firing blanks" glitch is bumming me out though. Your in-depth guides are very helpful. I wonder if you could do a guide, but on *every* card in the game. Maximising synergy, efficiency, and even team carrying possibilities.

IMO: You should have an Axe and use it for bosses. For commons you should be running Combat Knife, which has a wide arc like a machete, uses like no stamina, and gets all your melee perks. So stab stab all the commons, when a boss comes delete it with the axe. Combat Knife also has no friendly fire..

I main as Karlee and have a similar deck setup. If you can find an AA12 or a vector with the reload perks and infinite ammo on the Tec 9, you basically become a one person walking turret, it's badass.

Although I started recently, I made Hoffman be more of the resource god of scavengers when playing with random people. Most the time the randos are swiping everything before I get there as they have speed decks. I will overflow their pockets and get what they miss. It is a bit lacking combat wise, but I'm generally fine as long as I keep feeding the randos ammo.

Add Two is one and Admin reload to spend all that extra ammo you got! A lot of damage in just two cards.

@@justareplica That is sometimes the case, more so if I'm not in front of them. The ammo dropped off enemies is taken more than what I drop. I'll drop a pile at choke points and highlight it. It tends to get taken that way.

Agreed. My crew lets me heal everyone every single time cause of it. I kinda stay back on doc and don’t take a lot of damage so I can stay healthy just healing my team, never once using a medical item on myself

Ah, so Group Therapy uses the Target’s healing efficiency, not the healer’s - That DEFINITELY explains why my results differed from others’. Kinda… Hope that gets changed to be the healer’s, but either way, that’s very interesting. Very useful info as always. :)

@@votpavel The information I commented on here's outdated, but yes, you're correct. - Group Therapy always triggered if you had the card on and healed somebody. What I was saying is that GT, previously, would use the healing target's efficiency rather than your own. So, if you healed Walker with no healing cards, everyone would get 8 health, but if you had, say, 50% healing efficiency and healed yourself, everyone would get 12 health. This has been fixed, thankfully. You can heal anyone you want and it'll use your healing efficiency stat. ^^

I've actually found pills to be more useful then medkits now as they may give temporary health but it gives all trauma back. I let the other players carry medkits and just drop them if they want trauma back or lives. The temporary health plus charitable soul is soo op

One thing I just realized from your vid is that reload speed affects Admin Reload. It takes considerably longer to proc when you have base reload speed

For Evan you really don’t need that many speed cards. As a Evan main I usually run 4-5 speed cards and then start going for a med/use speed or damage build depending on my team.

Hey SwingPoynt, what is your opinion on running several multi-stat buff cards? I find that combining Coldbrew Coffee, Energy Drink, and Line ‘Em Up as my first three cards, then Knowledge is power and Combat Training, gives an incredible amount of early game performance. It gives the perfect combination of stat boosts early on that sets you up to be able to be very strong in offense, defense, and utility. After that, you can specialize whatever remaining cards you want for damage, tankiness, or healing. Edit: Works very well on Doc so you can dish out damage and protect yourself while still having the remaining 2/3 of your open deck for specializing in Reviver or Healer. If your team is at least decent, you won’t need that healing efficiency and revive speed/revival stats until about the second half of the campaign.

Questions about Karlee’s build; -How come you get infinite ammo for the shotgun? I thought it only applies to the secondary. -I applied hellfire but my movement is Unchanged when firing, am I missing something? I put on pretty much every movement cards but the effects of hellfire don’t take effect

you can do either or, but +2 on doc is only +2 for the team. +1 for everyone is +4 for the team

Box of Bags is better if you're in a premade but if you're solo queue in nightmare I would go the Shoulder Bag card.

Just make an SMG build focused around damage ONLY and you'll be fine. That's how I finished act one anyway. It's rough until the ferry level depending on your RNG with upgrades.

My jim build is almost the same but I added combat knife at the start for when a few get though so you dont have to swap weapon. It adds flexibility that makes it alot easier to be the team sniper.
