Don’t forget you are Oblivious when holding the Lament Configuration, So it will be quite difficult to not run into him (Unless you are in a SWF, then it is easier)

It seems like it’s impossible to solve the box though when the environmental hooks start to target you. If you dodge the environmental hooks, it resets the solve progress for the box.

sounds nice in a good scenario, I always play solo. and just had a game vs Pinhead. It's impossible to solve it once the chain hunt is on, because chains interrupt you, even though I would evade environment chain, then start solving immediately=simply no time to solve it as the next chains interrupts you. I tried corners, basement stairs, between 2 trees and a rock, simply at least one environment chain will get you. I don't think DBD thought this through, and once the hunt begins at least one survivor should be able to solve the configuration, and maybe the hunt shouldn't be on them, or at least chains spawn further apart from each other. If you have experienced survivors I know they can body block, etc. but I had 3 survivors that NEVER went for the box. It was all on me

The fact that the survivors can hold his power hostage and just hide in a corner is one of the dumbest parts about Pinhead. If that goes live he's going to be so incredibly weak.

@@sh6rpshot a lot of "teammates" doesn't do anything. Yesterday I confused Myers at two Gens after few minutes he could get me first time and no one tried to get me and no one was on a Gen. Yupp I died first hook, Myers wasn't even camping he chased someone else. The other two Guys just sitting around.

If you hold onto the box you become oblivious. Instead of holding the box until you need to solve it, i suggest remembering where it is and solving it when you need to.

How do I repair gens if i have the passive chains on me? Like I literally cant solve it cuz every 2s a new chain attacks me. Am i forced to go solve the box?

Once you start the solve they don’t go on to you :)

This killer has literally made me quit DBD. Maybe I'm just bad, but every game I try to go up against this killer, I have lost and died every single time. You can't even solve the box without the chains coming out to grab you. And the fact he can just teleport to you when you try to solve the box is so unfair. The only counter is to just keep running from the chains, but then how are you supposed to get gens done? The answer: You can't. Again, maybe I'm just bad at the game, but I have tried again and again to try and win against this killer and I just can't. In my opinion, he is too OP

Just had my first match against him and yes I agree it's very annoying to say the least, I don't get how the lament configuration works, the blue bars seemed to fill up on every survivor not just one, u solve the box u get the killer on you and by the time you get a chance to repair a gen the lament configuration is halfway done I don't get it really it seems like that power is always on??

If you pick up the box and solve the puzzle by passing the two skills checks, his chains never appear. I finally won against him the other night by doing this. Problem is, I was the only person on my team going for the box.

if you wanna be the guy holding the box, bring a detection perk like spine chill or object of obsession so you dont run into him on accident. also note that a lot of pinhead players will use hoarder and/or franklins, so you wanna be really careful after gettinb the box

Even if he’s in an active chase he can still teleport to you it’s happened more than once so having that as an example of KNOWING when he wont, that’s just a guess

You lose chain torment. If you don’t solve it you will get harassed by chains at random. Which is why this guys “counter” doesn’t work

@@joshuasanchez5561 if you carry the box only you will get harassed by the chains. The other survivors are not affected by the chain hunt. Only when the box is on the ground or picked up by pinhead the actual chain hunt starts. Therefore carrying the box around without solving it protects your teammates

This is great for my playstyle, I tend to like "Tank" roles. So in DBD I love to get into chases with the killer and take pressure off my team. Im definitely gonna hold that box for as long as I can!!

I honestly don’t think choosing to hold on to the box for too long is a terribly good idea. You have your own chain hunt meter filling up, which makes doing objectives difficult. And you’re oblivious while holding the lament configuration so staying away from the killer is difficult unless in a swf to give you information, or if you have Object of Obsession

It's super ez to dodge the chains. Just like basket ball. If you wanna run straight, only 2 steps you can go. Then you need to change direction.

How to counter your guide with few simple steps go: Lethal pursuer to have general idea where the box will spawn Hoarders when you know a survivor has picked up a box Use one our two increase solving time add ons to keep them at Bay for you to catch up to the or use purple add on if your chains broke by environment Use pin head power during mid chase and place gateway little infront of them so they have no time to react to your power I'm a pinhead main when using these 😁
