Thank you so much! This was incredibly helpful. I just bought a pair of shoes that are so painful on the back of my feet. But I think I may cut out the back and use your tips to cover the shoe or just add a pannel to the back of them instead of donating them. They got really scuffed on the bottom after one wear too, so I can't return them :(

Could I use hot glue to attach the fabric? Mainly asking about the bottom because that is going to be covered by foam
