My hair is similar to your clients grey with slightly more grey around my parting and I use 9/1 and 8/0 equal parts with 6% but thinking of changing to 88/0 with the 9/1for a little more grey coverage. Would the finished result be darker? Love all your content.
@hairupideas
@hairupideas 10 ай бұрын
Yes I would say it would appear darker and more intense. You could always use 99/0 + 88/0 + 9/1 and drop to 4% Another option would be 99/0 + 8/1. If your hair is resistant the double bases are a great choice. Thank you for the support it really helps motivate us

Love this! If you had 70% grey at front and 50% at back, natural level 6 what would you recommend to get a natural blonde (non brassy) result? Currently using 9/01 colour touch with 13 vol, which is great for the front but unfortunately very brassy orange at the back 😢

I would suggest micro lights with lightener to lift to a level 9 and then use your colour touch as usual. There’s no way of lightening level 6 to a cool blonde with Koleston or colour touch without it resulting in warmth.

What does look lighter 9/1 or 9/81? I'm using 10th level, but wan to switch to 9th, since it is more pigmented. Thank you!. Your videos are very helpful!

Both are the same in lighting but the 9/81 is a cooler tone. Hope that helps. Thank you for watching and commenting 💙

Hello !!! Nice video and color! I need help. Which color should I add to 9.0 or 99.0 on 75 % percent gray coverage and a regular but a bit over processed texture gray hair, Where natural 25% of hair is medium brown. I would like to get blonde with no yellow and crazy orange chicken tones , no green tones , but i would like the effect with slight pinkish warm hue but not exactly a strawberry blonde. Level 9 rose gold if you will however more light natural blonde than pink. However full coverage of 9 level blonde on all head too. Short bob hair.thank you for your professional advice:)

Hi without the client in my chair I can’t say what colour would be best for you to use. 99/0 is for resistant hair so maybe assess if this colour is suitable. A possible soloition to eliminating yellow tones is to do some baby lights on darker areas to lift to a level 9/10. Then you can do root colour of choice and after tone with strawberry blonde. Take a look at Wella shinefinity 🍑

Can I use 99/0 with 12/1 with 12% for a more brighter result? I use 12/1 with 12% but it do not cover grey hair. What would you recommend for a brighter blond and grey cover?
@hairupideas
@hairupideas Жыл бұрын
To cover grey you need to come darker than 12 range as this is a high lift tint. I really like the blend of grey/white with the high lift. Other options just use 9/ range and add hilights through ?

Hello, i have bleached blonde hair level 10 and wella hair dye onto it probably 9.3 left on 5-10 minutes to give me warm result. My problem is that i did want a warm result but just yellow tones, not golden/orange. My hair has a slight orange hue but its mainly yellow. Can I go with wella koleston 9/00 to fully cover up the orangey hue? Or i need to have a very quick bleach and then wella 9/0 All over? I would appreciate Your help very much ❤️🟧➡️🟨

I know that 9.1 could probably solve a problem but I dont like ashy or any other hues other than naturally yellowish simple level 9. Sorry for the „hard case”, hope You can help me ❤

What toner are you using after bleach Koleston 9/3 ? And with what developer ?
@BigmouthPelikan
@BigmouthPelikan Жыл бұрын
@@hairupideas The bleach was just a regular bleach to The level 10, No toner was applied and I asked for a warm yellow color and a hairdresser probably used koleston 9/3 for 5-10minutes. And I just want to have level 9/0 hair from Wella koleston with No Orange hue 🧡
@hairupideas

Just realised you said 1.9% which is the correct developer for after bleaching
@hairupideas
@hairupideas Жыл бұрын
@@BigmouthPelikan Koleston 9/3 after bleach with developer 1.9% would be adding tone back into the hair (/3 tone)So maybe try no toner or bleaching to level 9 instead of 10 for a more yellow look.

Can I just use the 99/0 for gray coverage? What is the purpose of the 9/1?
@hairupideas
@hairupideas 3 жыл бұрын
Yes you can use 99/0 to cover grey. I add 9/1 to eliminate some gold tones that come through on areas where she is not so grey. On this client if just use 99/0 it can look a little to warm so I add any ash tones I have. Thanks for watching

Thank you. Instead of the Wella developer Can I use a 6% developer from Sally Beauty Supply with the 99/0?
@hairupideas
@hairupideas 3 жыл бұрын
I’ve never used this product from Sally’s so can’t recommend sorry but you could always test a patch on the neck or on an area or hair underneath. I would always recommend using Wella developer for optimum results

I used just the 99/0 and it did a good job covering the gray. But it did come out a little warm. And also a little darker than the rest of my hair. Do you think I could mix the 99/0 with 10/1 and still have it cover the gray?

Yes equal amounts of colour and then 1:1 ratio with developer

I used to love 99/0 on its own before they changed the formula, I haven't been able to duplicate it and it's warm, have to add a lot of ash

Hi!if she would be 100% grey how is her formula would be?Thank you
@hairupideas
@hairupideas 3 жыл бұрын
You could use the same formula. Depends on what your end result goal is. This formula is ash blonde in the whiter areas and blends to a darker more golden blonde in areas where there is less white and darker roots. Any more questions let me know. Thanks for watching

She is 100% grey at the hairline and crown,70-80 % at the back,likes her hair very blond and good grey cover ,but the same time doesn’t like to see any brass or yellow .Thank yoy for answers 🌸and also with ash I am afraid to make her look more grey🙄

@@lrissa6577 ok so similar to my client in video. It will be gold at the back but you could mix a different mixture for when the hair starts to be less grey. Just 9/1 on its own with 6% developer or if you need some lift mix with 9% (back section only ) 😚
