how are you able to keep your length without using protective styles? I remember in one of your videos you said you don't like protective styles.

I really don't like protective styles that include extensions like box braids etc. I wear my hair in buns a lot which could technically be called a "protective style" but I just follow a healthy hair regimen (deep conditioning, trimming, moisturizing) to keep my hair length. If I wanted to start growing my hair longer I would protective style more.
