Definitly looking forward to this release. The crafting looks almost mind-blowingly huge and complicated. I am very excited but a bit hesitant. Love the crafting but the problem with crafting in games like this is that you can craft so many things, but only a few items are worth making and really only need to be created one. We shall see. Thanks for the quick overview of crafting!

Honestly, the crafting is my favorite part of the game. Something about making a tunic out of a cow and having the cow print on the tunic really brings it to life and makes it unique. Don't get lost in stats and mid maxing every single thing until you get a look you like. Otherwise you'll be chasing numbers and wasting resources.

Great guide! Do you know if the tier of augments that unlock the same recipes matters? For example, I can make the anvil as a T2 augment for the blacksmith's heart, but is it any better than the bellows (aside from taking up less space)? Or is the difference purely cosmetic?

No difference for smelter however they might help unlock other recipes at other benches, guide on it in next hour

So crafting is like Dragon Age Inquisition; where you get better schematic that allow more material used to craft gear, but the resources used determines stats?

textiles should be either cloth or fabric? i think it might say textiles but should be able to put the rest in? if not need an excellent bench to make it (tier 3)

thats actually a possibility, you set ya realm to public and others can join

yes but only if u set your realm to public, basiclaly never set ya respite realm where ya base is as public, go to another realm and set it as public and people can join and help or be doiong there own thing

So the starting realm is practically your hub? You always come back here when you went into another realm?

yes! but you can make any realm your hub! but you wil lose teh first realm you set ya hub on

I like the UI of this build slightly better and they removed the max and min buttons on crafting for some reason.

maybe when you were beta testing you could do all this. Just got the game and you cannot craft squat. cannot make a crafting table or a basic chest to put loot in, it took over an hr to do anything at all. the game has you make a fire lol when you literally cannot kill anything because you cannot craft anything as their are no options to do so. Played several survival games and this game looks awesome but plays like total poop. when you cannot craft a basic bench in an hr something is not right. you make a bed it should simply make it if you have the resources. the place then add resources is totally ridiculous. Ive never returned a game but this may be the first time.

Do the quests. The game holds your hand tightly and the rewards are crafting recipes. You don't even need a bench until after you have a basic base built and you don't even get that until maybe the 5th or 6th main quest in. You're still in the tutorial.
