Does anyone have any suggestions for an affordable dressy flat ballet-flat-type shoe? I'm a sneakers girl and am not a fan of heels or sandles, but I really need some sort of dressier shoe because sometimes converse just aren't appropriate lol

Emily, did you find something already? I have many, many flats. These are some dressier ones that I find comfortable. I chose the ones that are $70 or less. Most of them I've bought at DSW, Famous Shoe Warehouse, and Zappos. + Me Too: Perri, Brielle +Anne Klein Sport: Azip, Aveline, +Journey Collection: Nita, Cortni, or Winslo +Cole Haan: Elsie +Dr. Scholl's: Glory, Really +Aerosoles: Flower Girl + Skechers: Regent +Clarks: Gracelin Mara +Born: Marie If you can splurge, look for flats made by Vionic. They are more expensive but the comfort is outstanding, and they last for many years. I have plantar fasciitis and that's the only brand I wear to work when my pain starts coming back. I get mine at Nordstrom, Marshall's, or Ross. Amazon has the occasional pair, too. Good luck!

i don't dry clean anything 👍 for cashmere and silk, I wash in cold water by hand/machine gentle cycle, using woolite delicates (made for silks and woolens). hang dry or line dry depending on the material.

For the Sezanne blouse, do you get it dry cleaned every time you wear it, or do you ever hand wash it? I have several silk Sezanne items that I'm terrified to take the plunge hand washing, but it would save me so much in dry cleaning bills!

I wash in a lingerie bag in cold water on the gentlest cycle. I use a delicate detergent like woolite. To dry, I either line dry or lay it flat to air dry. :)
