Hi, and thank you! I had always warn warm autumn tones when I was brunette. Since going gray, I find I prefer warm winter colours. It seems like such a change. I’m afraid the autumn tones will make my gray appear yellow but I miss the beauty of the autumn colours!

I'm easy. I look good in, and like, black and white and any shade of grey in between, any shade of cool blue-toned red from pale blush to deepest wine, and any cool jewel tone, although I will extend that to smokey blues and navy. I avoid beige but do indulge in khaki and griege from time to time. I don't do brown or yellow or orange or yellowy green. I despise camel and rust. I have a friend who seeks all the colors of the rainbow, but I find it much easier to stick to the colors that suit me best and leave the rest alone.

Hi Dana, It sounds as if you can afford to have a lot of contrast in what you wear. I would not like to give you advice on specific colours as I ask for lots of details to enable me to give a colour analysis and without those details I would not want to give you the incorrect advice. Hi Michelle, I'm looking forward to the webinar in a few days time. I just watched this video for the second time and realised what my two biggest issues are. Being intentional, while shopping, can be difficult, in that I may never find what's in my mind's eye. In NZ, a small country, options are limited. Learning to settle for what's available is something I've had to come to terms with. It's taken ten years to get my wardrobe to a point where it's cohesive and functions well. But I've had to compromise my colour, fabric and style choices to do that. Which sucks!

@@capsuleclosetstylist On the plus side, I have found a leather biker jacket with minimal hardware on it and I'm 85% happy with it. Plus I've found a denim/chambray shirt in the perfect shade of blue for me. Next is a straight leg black pants, though I think bootcut suits me better.

That is the best thing to do regardless of where you are. Make a note of what you want to replace something with and then spend the time looking for the perfect item
