Dude this is not chunk ban this is book ban Chunk Bans: Oveloading a chunk over 2MB, When a player loads the chunk he instantly kicked from the server Book Bans: Filling the book with unicode characters then giving the item to "Player Inventory", "A Chest(only kicks)" or "Ender Chest" to ban player. *also sorry for bad grammar*

Hello! I have heard of the term book ban in the past, with very similar (or exact) effects. I picked the word “chunkban” mainly because it was used in the Gaia’s Vault video and is the word most people use for this. However, the more proper term we have in the prison community now is called an “area ban” because chunk bans don’t ban chunks, rather a radius of 32 blocks around it. You go to settings, go to idiom, select "unicode font" (i guess) and write all those books. Put a firm on these and change the idiom to your original idiom. Then the books will be in unicode and you can *B A N* Whoever you want LOL

So basically, the chunkban is active if the shulker box is dropped as an item that can be picked up, but inactive if it's in a hopper or dispenser? And the toggleable model is just juggling it really fast out of the dispenser and into the dropper? Thanks so much for this tutorial, I'm just curious about the specifics.

The Chunkban shulker boxes is inactive within the hopper or dropper however when they are dispensed it is activated. The reason they have the dropper and hopper is to stop the chunkbans shulker box from despawning. The toggleable model has a netherite block attached to a piston so when the netherite block activates the repeater will go into the netherite block powering the dropper infinitely.

Hello! I’m sorry I didn’t respond to this comment but I have quite a few comments about this so let me explain. The high data character shown in the video was removed from the description for some reason. So I would recommend getting Kenadian’s kit world where you can get the area bans. Use the special character in the description of this video and copy and paste the character inside a book and quill. When every page is filled with the character you can then copy the ban book. You now have a ban book. Now just continue with the tutorial. :D. (Also chunkbans only work on servers and may not work the same on other kinds of Minecraft servers)

Hey! So first, this only works on a server so if you aren’t on one, then that’s a problem. Second, chunkbans (now known as area bans) don’t work on any PaperMC version after 1.17.1. Hello, 1. The radius of chunk banning in Vanilla servers is 75 blocks, while as he mentioned that it’s 32 blocks in servers with the SpigotMC/PaperMC software. 2. The kick/ban occurs due to the player receiving packets from high NBT *entities* because to simplify, it’s not caused by the rendering side of things. It doesn’t work in a block form since the player doesn’t receive direct data input from blocks, but does from entities which is what caused an overload in the game and kick the player. 3. You can find a Unicode character in the description which contains high NBT data, you can copy paste that character into all pages of a Minecraft book, even put it as the book name if you want, then place them all in your chunk banning-shulker! A ban entering the inventory is called an inventory ban. You can’t easily escape it without using your server’s console or getting another player online to /clear you. (Using a repeating command block). Also bans don’t work on paperMC 1.19.2. Hope this helps! :D

No. Chunk bans do not exist on bedrock. Memory bans do, they are pretty complex but if you wanna ban someone permanently those are the things to use. Most people use them for prisons You do the same thing as he does but spread all the chunk bans in the 4 chests then get a clock to push them. To get the books I recommend joining Evangalines server or VariableCave870s server. Welcome!
