Step by step video to make a cobbled patch on a tarmac road. Adding a great effect to your model railway roadways. You can use weathering powders to add a realistic edge.

Most country roads are edged with ditches. Why have I never seen them on Model Railways ?!
@rogervipond3 жыл бұрын
"CRACK ON", Craig! Both yourself and Sam have used that expression in your most recent videos. I'm sure you have to credit Charlie at Chadwick MR for that (unless you've all served in HM Armed Forces at one time !). So, now you're all "GOOD TO GO" ?
@northernrails44623 жыл бұрын
😂😂😂 I think crack on is a northern term! Didn’t realise I’d said it 😂 cheers buddy 👍🏻

Where you from originally, Craig? And why have all you Northerners emigrated to Kernow? Have you learnt to speak the language yet?! 😁
@northernrails44623 жыл бұрын
Originally from Oldham! Been here 17 years. No I don’t want to lose my northern twang!!! 😂😂

@@northernrails4462 Oldham, East Lancashire - now there's a thing ... I came to West London in 1950, just in time to visit the Festival of Britain. It was fantastic, I still have clear visual memories of it! I now generally speak with a (soft) RP accent, but ... Back in the day, when I used to drink more beer than was good for me, my vowels used to flatten more and more, because ... I were born in a town with 4,000 holes in the road, now languishing in the Championship. And I can still affect the accent of my grandparents. That's nae idea, lad! So, that nostalgic note I leave you in peace .... Except you might want to respond to my offer, in a Comment on Sam's last video (that featured Northern Rails) ... TTFN. Roger.
