@GRUMO4 жыл бұрын
Hi Zaid, the most effective method is to use social media to grow and audience by posting great content. Then, drive some of that audience to your email list. Finally, you can promote your course to your email list. I wouldn't post your course directly on social media without having built and audience first.

Thank you! Question: would you recommend to create a Thinkific course with a free account for a start if you don't have all course ready yet however have a few people waiting for the launch & details. Is there a way to open certain lesssons /modules once they are ready? And is there a way to integrate bonus lessons embedding published or unlisted KZbin videos? Or you'd have to actually upload the file of the video? Btw I loved all videos which I watched on your channel :).
@GRUMO2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I would recommend to start with the free account. You don't need to have your course ready to start promoting it. In fact, it is recommended that you validate your course before creating it altogether. So you could simply create the landing page of the course to promote it and then create the content after you get a few students. Of course, you would offer those firsts students and early-bird discount because they'll have to wait until you get enough validation to complete the course. If you don't get the validation you were expecting, you can always refund those early students. You can create bonus lessons, embed videos from KZbin or anywhere else. But Thinkific makes it super easy (and more secure) to upload your videos directly to their servers, so I would recommend that option instead.

Hi, thanks for this very helpful video. Quick question, do you know if Thinkific has any plugin to run the banner which allows users to agree, decline or manage the consent on cookies? I believe this is called “GDPR Policy Generator”. Some companies charge up to $ 100/ year for a plugin of that nature, but I wonder if Thinkific already helps creators with that. I noticed there`s a tutorial on Thinkific which teaches how to generate tick boxes for Privacy Statement / T&C during the course registration process and also how to create links to these documents on the footer section, but I couldn`t identify any information related to the automatic banner itself. I would really appreciate if you could help me with this. Thanks!
