Your videos are very informative. But a little tip I do is instead of writing all my slides on a piece of paper. I use the notes app on my phone with the number list. Then when you add or subtract slides it updates automatically.

33:39 ok. You've gotten this far and you decide to change the color of the tabs to match those on the page. How do you do that on your template now that it's locked? 💖🌞🌵😷

I love your videos ! So nice to explain what is needed first. However, I can't seem to move my master slide to the left. It keeps going back in the center. When I am trying to edit my tabs on the right, when I hit the brush icon, it completely covers up the tabs so I can't see the tabs while working on them. Any idea on how to move it over to the left ?? Thanks so much !!!!

I had this same problem in the beginning. Took me a while to figure out it had to do with how zoomed in I was. I wanted to zoom in to be able to see better but when zoomed in, my options would cover up the screen. Try zooming out and see if that helps. Takes a little playing with to find the balance between zoom and adjusting options. This irritated me but believe it is a flaw of the application. Hope this helps!

All of your directions are really clear! I’m just not understanding how every time I click to add a slide, I don’t get a spread with just the tabs I added. It is always a complete copy of the last slide. Any ideas of what I could be doing wrong?

Make sure you are clicking the plus sign at the bottom left corner and not clicking duplicate slide. Also, check the slide layout your new slide is set to by clicking on the new slide and clicking edit slide layout. Your slide layout determines what the background of your slide looks like. Hope this helps!

Nancy, that must be so frustrating!! I am so sorry - I am just not tech savvy enough to know what is going on. When I am in keynote on my iPad and in the "edit slide layout" function, I always have the "done" option at the top left of the screen. I wish I could help. Maybe someone else a little more tech savvy than me can chime in with what might be going on.
