I love how easy this is, yet it looks so cute! Poor Brooklyn! You can tell she's either tired or on pain medication. Feel better soon! Prayers are coming your way! Almost 5 years ago, I had to have a permanent tube placed inside my spinal cord to help drain a pocket of spinal fluid that was trapped in my spinal cord. Then 8 weeks later, I had a full spinal fusion, complete with rods and screws, from the base of my neck to past my waist for extremely bad scoliosis that was crushing my lung and heart. And soon, I'm most likely going to need another back surgery due to the pain that the first surgery has caused, so wish me luck! :)

When I was 6 years old I had to have 2 open heart surgeries. (Those aren't the best memories.) it was 11 millimeters when I was 6, and now it's down to 3 millimeters. I still have a hole in my heart so I do have a little extra maintenance in my life. (Going to the doctor more often then most, checking my pulse 3 times a day, and my blood pressure too.) When I'm older I will have to have a heart replacement, but the patch on my heart works for now. After my next surgery I won't be able to have kids, so I really hope I'm older when I need it (hopefully 30, not 20!) I really want to have 4 or 5 kids! But who knows, medicine is getting better every day!:)

I've had three rounds of sins surgery in the last 9 years to remove nasal polyps (the joys of having Cystic Fibrosis!), but I was born missing two stomach muscles and I had surgery when I was two to put mesh in to close up th gaps. I'm pretty lucky have gotten this far in life and not needed anything else! I'm grateful for the trials in my life that allow me to remember how lucky I am and how blessed I am! Hope you're so much better soon Brooklyn 😘

Olivia Scomparin I lie on my back on my bed and hang my head off the edge ... then use my brush or comb and brush and scoop all my hair up into a high point :) been doing this for over 15 years now and it never fails :) x

Olivia Scomparin I also use the method of getting it as smooth as possible, then taking a fine comb and smoothing it to the elastic, and covering the small bumps there with an elastic.

I am frustrated because I cant find ANY hairstyles that work for me. I cant even do any simple buns that other girls do. The reason is because of my type of hair which I have not seen on any other person in the world. My hair is ultra thick while also being super fine. Most women with thick hair have thick hair because their individual strands are very thick and often curly. They may or may not have a lot of hair strands on their head. But my hair is very fine. Each strand of hair when I compare it to strands of hair taken from other peoples heads is about half the width of even other fine hair. But my hair is so thick too because I have a huge amount of individual hairs growing out of my head. Sometimes I have so many hairs growing in one spot that it seems like they are coming out of the same hair follicle. On top of that my hair grows super fast which means I typically almost always have long hair. I always have new hair growth and you can see them when my hair is put up hanging around my face making it look as if I purposely pulled them out to look sort of like bangs. I cant complain about my hair too much since it looks gorgeous. But I am embarrassed that people think I am simple because I can only do two things with my hair and that is with my hair down or in a simple ponytail. I have looked everywhere on the internet for hairstyles with thick hair but its a different type of thick hair than mine. Its all hairstyles for women with thick course hair. My hair is so fine that when I try to put it up into different hairstyles I struggle with these fine little wispy fly away hairs. Then the hair itself is so thick that it is heavy and the whole thing sags down.

I have the same problem that has intensified as I've gotten older, I'm 20 and I'm terrified of what my hair will be like in even 10 years from now. I hate the back of my hair on the now of my neck, there is always new growth that looks like someone did a hack job back there. Then the front of my hair around my face is thinning out because I have it in a bun all the time :( I'm going to have to keep it shorter I'm afraid.

Love this style! I had to have my tonsils out earlier this year, and 5 days after surgery (on Easter sunday night) I had a haemorrhage (a hugeeeee bleed) and had to go back to have another surgery in the middle of the night, have my stomach pumped because it was full of blood, and a blood transfusion! Was so so so scary but thank goodness I'm better now! Hope Brooklyn is feeling better soon xx
