It can take some reasonable weight as the cloth knots hold well. But it's just not really the kind of bag that you would choose to carry particularly heavy items in

In this demo I'm using a 70cm furoshiki and 3.5" bamboo ring handles, but you can switch up what you use for a different look.

@@CorrieKlokow we use a rolled hem overlocked stitch. It finishes the fabric nicely, is long-lasting and also doesn't affect the flow of the fabric like a folded hem does.
