I wish I had room for a studio. Unfortunately I don't at the moment. I have a small room but it's so full of tut I would be ashamed to show it on a video. Nearly everything I produce is filmed outside in my garden near my pond. You'll see what I mean on the video I'm putting out on Saturday. It's going to be one of the rare video's that I use the ZV-E10 to record with the Sigma 16 1.4. I thought that was a better choice than my Osmo Action 1 to demonstrate the new Ulanzi U Mic AM18 wireless mic. I blame you for all of it Mark as I bought the ZV-E10 and Sigma lens after watching your videos and I was also introduced to Ulanzi by you. Your videos cost me a fortune lol

Well this is fun. I used the Anton 60 as a COB light and a little Newer flat led light for backlight. Then a couple of Govee pole lights frame at bookshelves with hiking gear/cameras displayed. My ZV-E10 with the Sigma 60mm lens rounds out the day. My mic is a Samson Q9U XLR on a boom arm and powered by the Elgato Wave XLR. Man, I sound like a geek! Never thought I’d know this stuff 😂. Have had the zv-e10 for a bit over a week now, and I'm impressed. I'm coming from phone cameras and a dji pocket, which well... this camera obliterates with any lens lol. Also bought a dji rs3 mini, zeiss touit 32mm 1.8 and a sigma 56mm 1.4 and also got the kit lens. Looking at pictures taken with my s23u and comparing them to the pictures taken with the zv-e10 makes me think how I ever even thought my phone's camera is any good in non-perfect lighting situations😅. Hello mark, thank you for making this video. You can make videos about the functions and how a studo works. Like in terms of operations, how to make income, how to produce videos or projects, how to get projects or clients... I mean in terms of business and how to operate. Although there are professional secrets. But I hope you share some of it. There are many people who make studios and buy equipment. But I don't know how to operate and what I can do to earn income. Not everyone can invest in a studio and make KZbin successful... like you. Looking forward to seeing your videos about the studio and life around this studio. Wishing you a peaceful day.

In my case, the studio is for social media. Many people are doing the same. They do product photography or videography or they are promoting a product or service they have (fashion line, real-estate, etc). Some people set up a studio for photography to do portraits or bay pics or holiday family pics.

I am about to start with a ZV-E10 and was convinced to buy the Sigma 16mm 1.4. You actually confirmed my decision. However, the Viltrox 20mm you recommended in another videos looks great as well and is probably a better value. I guess, the 500 Dollar for the 17mm Viltrox is not more value compared to the Sigma lense. Would you go for the sigma or the viltrox lense for a starter? Thanks in advance and keep up the great work. Really enjoy the mix of great information and entertainment!

Super bright led pannels. come with extendable mounts. nice price ad well. Also found a 17-70mm 2.4 Tamron lens which is essentially the same focal length but smaller apature. Still gives me good background separation. on the fence about tripods. i have a joby tripod that essentially matches my 3k gorillapod mount . but the arcaswiss is reallt the way to go. What makes you use the vlogging CV E10 over a 6400 a 6600 or even the 6700? I asked because the E10 doesn't have a mechanical shutter it doesn't have a viewfinder and it's not weather sealed so you can't really use it outside in the elements or if something is moving really fast so I just wanted to know your opinion on why you chose this vlogging camera over a better options? Cool video too
@MarkBennettCameraCrisis
@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Жыл бұрын
the ZV-E10 does have mechanical shutter at 11 fps - which is the same as the a6400 and a6600. The a6400 has no stabilization and the a6600 ibis is not very good at all so I choose it over the a6400 and a6600 for vlogging because it has electronic stabilization, the use of gyro data for ultimate smooth footage with catalyst browse. it is also cheaper than the a6400 and a6600 and it is half of the price of the a6700. The a6700 is better in every way - but you have to pay for it. So I recommend the zv-e10 for anyone who wants to shoot video on a budget. But I would not choose it for photo shooters on a budget.
@HagaishiSama
@HagaishiSama Жыл бұрын
@MarkBennettCameraCrisis OH wow, I swore it didn't have a mechanical shutter. And I get where coming from with the stabilization I guess you're really good as long as you're in a controlled environment seeing how it's not weather sealed. And no evf on a sunny day would bite. But everything else I understand why you would pick it. Good points especially when working on a budget

For bedroom producers who don't even use the word 'budget", cos there aint one, and their entire "studio" is the mess which they have on their desk, including computers, monitors, audio equipment, video equipment, gaming equipment, some other setup not related to any equipment, and/or any other thing which may or may not be setup in the future but probably won't be cos it's the bedrooom - I recommend using a TV/PC screen as your external monitor. Most TVs have 3-4 HDMI ports so that's easy for direct connection; it is big so you can actually see yourself not being in focus; you can run teleprompter/bullet point list on it (behind the camera) for what you're babbling about in case you lose the plot after 15th take cos you keep saying "footchegesh" instead of "footages"; AND as a byproduct of being turned-on it works as a fill-in light; AND another and - if you use multiple PC screens you may use one as a color fill of your choice (I think Caleb from DSLR Shooter did a vid on that). Yeah. Footchegesh, footchegesh. 😜

I have this Portkeys one which is fantastic amzn.to/45yE1Fj But I am a fan of Viltorx and the 550 does look good. I would give that one a shot.

HI MARK, DO YOU EXPERIENCE EXCESSIVE EYE STRAIN AFTER USING SONY A7IV ? MANY OF MY COLLEAGUES AND CLIENTS HAVE SAID THAT THEY EXPERIENCE A LOT OF EYE STRAIN AFTER USING OR WATCHING VIDEOS SHOT WITH CAMERAS LIKE A7IV, A7C,etc. THEY ALSO COMPLAIN ABOUT SWOLLEN AND PUFFY EYES DUE TO THE EYE STRAIN CAUSED BY THESE CAMERAS. ANY SIMILAR EXPERIENCE? CAN SONY ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM IF IT EXISTS?

that is not something I have ever experienced or heard from other Sony users.

It’s funny how I spend so much on buying camera bodies(and selling them to try others) but I won’t invest in lighting other than an Amazon ring light. I think I like playing with cameras more than producing content.

I totally disagree. With 16mm you have to clean up too much of your room. Get a 56mm and keep your mess like it is. 🎉
