Great interview, thanks! Some really useful info and tips throughout this. I would love to know how the snare sound in Chrissy is done. Is it a tom layered with some white noise? It’s so lush and punchy.

Thanks for the comment! For the snare, I'm guessing he's probably just using a sample. I have a big lush snare sample like that in my free synthwave drum sample pack. Snare 16 I think. You can get it here: orpheusaudioacademy.com/starterpack I can also shoot him and email and see what he says.

Thanks Reagan. I do have your sample pack, and you’re right, Snare 16 is pretty similar! Very nice. Would love to learn creating that sound from scratch though, so I’d be interested to hear if he used a sample or not. Keep up the great work. Really enjoying all your content 🙂👍

@@BenSpencer39 I see, well, I think you were on the right track at first. Sounds very similar to a Simmons Tom sound, maybe with a short snappy share layered and a big reverv added on top. But I'll ask him and see if he made it himself or found a sample.
