Isn't it something how you can take a plain white canvas and transform it into something breathing! The center looked to me like a Celtic design. As you build layer upon layer, your design emerges. I have watched so many of your videos. I have tried to pick a favorite, but they are like my kids I love them all! LOL ❤

The gold one you did, the first one I saw this morning, was exquisite. I liked this one even more. I put dots all over my drawings, have always done it, but I never knew there was such a thing as dot painting. It's a whole other world. I wonder if it would work with Celtic drawings. I'd also like to try it on painted furniture. It's mesmerizing. I know it would banish all thoughts of the world wide traumas going on in the world right now. Incredible. You are amazingly talented. It's mind blowing where dot painting basic dots and swoshes into mandalas has lead too. There are so many inspirational artists who have been uncovered by what started out as a simple hobby, for people to keep themselves occupied with, to the undisclosed depths of painting with simple dots. As an Australian who has lived with Aboriginals on their land, where their artwork of Aboriginal paints and colours go back to their roots by mixing their paints from elements found in mother nature, then applied to bark they strip from the trees around them. Fashioning their tools out of the woods around them, that has allowed them to survive down through time. Their artwork has always remained basic, yet it is admired and in demand by so many in society. Now to today, where we have seen so many talented artists who have developed infront of our eyes on the Internet. People who were looking for something to keep themselves occupied with, to earning pin money in order to help their family budgets stretch to including a few extras in life that previously were outside their reach. Your family must be amazed and so proud of your artwork. I hope you are feeling better.

You can do it! Just go slow and practice. I practice on kindness rocks by writing words very small. It’s really as if the more you do it then the less you think and it just becomes easier. I still have so much to learn and I’m only using one brush. I kind of want to try bigger.

How do you prep your canvas so as not to get wonky dots?

They say they are Acrylic Gesso Primed. I used 2 coats of the base paint. Try your dots on a paper and see if it’s your paint or the canvas. Good luck.. 🤞🏻 let me know if I can help. I’ll help ya figure it out if I can.
