Gold and White Mandala Dot Art Painting Tutorial

Here's the Largest Gold Mandala tutorial I've painted yet! It's my Birthday week and I wanted to do something gold and sparkly because y'all know that's what I love, lol. I'm so super tickled with this plate! I hope you give this a try. It's going to work on a canvas or a round wooden piece or a record album... basically it'll work on anything that's 14" or more. Happy Birthday week Jadel. It was my birthday on the 2nd and I turned the big 60. My daughters birthday is tomorrow (37) and my grandson is on the 13th (6). So as you can see its a busy week for me too. The best people I know are born in April 🥰 This mandala is stunning. Such a big project and you make it look so easy. I love watching you paint. I would love to help you out and join, but I just cant do it these days. But I will continue to like and comment every time, and support you anyway I can. Thanks Ro. Try taking one of those tiny sections (they look like wings to me) draw it on a paper and see if you can’t paint over your lines. I truly think it might be easier than it looks. Just thin the paint a bit, go slow, etc.

I don’t know? I wondered the same when I painted that record album but just did 2 base coats of black. But it’s kinda textured with the lines. I’m thinking if you’re using multi-surface paints it should be ok but it probably wouldn’t hurt to scratch em up a bit with sand paper? I’ve always just thrown caution to the wind and hoped for the best 😂😂😂 if it’s just for decor I think it should be fine. Thanks for the bday wishes ♥️♥️♥️

Thank you ♥️ Good question… you just want to pick the one that fits in the gap you want to fill. You can hold it up to the spot before putting pint on it to see. When going around a ring you can just use your guidelines to space them evenly. If you want it to work out perfectly you’ll have to plan it. Most of the time I just wing it and see what it gives me. LOL

Thank you ♥️ I always show you in my videos if I plan a design first. This one I just made up as I go. I do a mandala brainstorm on some of my rocks but not yet on my larger ones. I figure I can plan it on paper or just directly on the canvas. I enjoy the gamble and the surprise.
