when I try moving the shadow layer, its the image layer that gets moved rather, so now I have to go right instead of left because of that and then in the end the body becomes two instead of the shadow so when I have to clean the lower shadow, I can't because its a body there. the body doesn't get erased

hi, check your foreground color option...... try white or black,,,,,,,,,, press D to reset foregound , and use X button to toggle btw white and black, now use eraser. should work
