Instead of cloning the set hud element value over and over again, I’m pretty sure you can spawn an event receiver and set it to ‘health changed’ and then spawn in your health variable and then wire it.

you can make a pvp map using game rules from cv1 and it automatically makes players who are hit by gun or swords killable and you can configure weapons to do a different amount of damage

best way is to stand on it use a get local player and hook it to a get position, the numbers coming out of the get position show your current vector position, just copy those numbers into a vector create chip :)

Great video! Quick question though, my PvP has two teams, team Red and Blue, I want to make it so that being on a team makes your healthbar color coordinate with the team color. Is it possible I can do this?

yes, i believe you will have to have a button of something to start the game, then on game start check what team they are on, then use 3 hud constants both the same except one is blue bar and one is read bar. "for each player" check what team with some if chips "if on team one then enable hub with constant red bar" else enable blue bar hud

yes i just found out that something has changed. it is semi fixed but, you will have to hit edit on your maker pen, then select the player definition board. once in there configure each of the undefined event senders to hit. after you save leave and come back this should fix it. srry for the inconvenience

What do I need to add to the circuits to make players drop their gun when they die? I mean I assume "unequip from player" but where does the object input come from? How do I tell it what to unequip? Do I need to attach it to the board of every trigger handle in the room?

ok we will be covering this in my next vid (actually we will be changing alot) but to simplify you need a "player get equipped objects" then either just before the "add role" or right after place a "delay chip" (leave as 0). hook the after delay up to whatever was hooked up before. but on the run hook up a second new "delay" chip (leave as 0). On this 2nd delay hook up 2 "unequip object" chips(hook one to the run and on to the after delay. Then use the "player get equipped objects". hook the dominate hand obj to one of the unequip chips and the off hand obj to the other. you can also go to the ^RCL_SuprDEATH_Room and see the circuits example on the back of the wall (although i am going to test with a sequence chip to see if this works as well)

Thanks for the help! I have never used those chips before. After adding this to my room I realized that after the circuit made me drop the gun if I was still spamming the trigger I could snatch it out of the air before it fell. I guess I forgot to change that setting in the role chip. Lol.

my best guess for a sword is to clamp a trigger volume to it then when player enters if they are not the player currently equiping the sword, then send the hit event... i think, is a bit of a bummer thats swords don't just do damage

Thank you, I rarely use tutorials, I’m a pro circuiteer and have been doing it for a while, I knew almost everything and I could create almost anything you could think of, but when it came to pvp games it wasn’t working and all the tutorials were using a beta chip and I saw other rooms doing this, thank you. Also if you wanna know the room I’m making, it’s gods of war pvp, I’ll have Greek gods Norse gods and Egyptian gods and they will all have powers kinda like marvelsuperheropvp. Also, to make it black and white you can add a sky dome chip and sun light chip, make it black and white and then make it exclusive to role
