Very nice card set; I love making card sets for gifts b/c they are so useful as well as pretty and fun to make. The ink pads are designed to keep the ink at the top. If you know ahead, you can flip the ink pad so it appears upside down, which will allow the ink to flow to the bottom of the pad. I often do this if/when my pads are too juicy. ir I know i'm going to be using this kind of a stamp.

Gorgeous! What a lovely gift set! I am a SU Demonstrator and I love my Stamparatus, but notice you don't use one. I wish I could get your good results with a stamp block, but I'm just not a consistent stamper with a block!

Hi Karen--I actually am too lazy to use my Stamparatus for things that I can line up without ;) But I know some people love it for everything. I usually have a specific purpose in mind when I pull it out.

Really cute set! You stated that this was a two-step stamp set. I thought that it was two-step when you were stamping over the main image to achieve a layer of added depth. Joy when you were adding elements to complete an image (flower, leaf, etc.). Am I incorrect in my thinking?

They have gotten away from naming sets "two step" I guess. To me it is when the pieces are broken up so you can stamp one in one color and another in another. Maybe I am mixed up, but does that detail really matter? It is just pretty stamping!
