How To Create A Realistic Save File 🤎 | The Sims 4

It's a little-known fact that the wild looking sims aren't the game's fault. CC creators are either incompetent or outright malevolent. If you open a few items in Sims 4 Studio you'll see plenty of tags that are just wrong. Things like cowboy boots being tagged as swimwear or ski goggles as formal. Often you'll find every swatch of an item is tagged with every color. The game thinks it's picking a blue top to match a blue skirt, but it's actual getting a neon yellow top. That's also why you get so many blonde or redhead Asian Sims and whatnot. If you don't have a lot of CC, you can fix this all in a few hours. Just open up S4S and edit the tags on everything. To me, it's worth it. I like seeing Sims walking around in nicer outfits than what maxis offers. But I have 20,000 items in my mods folder, so it will take a while to edit it all.

I personally use them together. If you do not use the "No Townies" mod - then you will still have random sims populating along with your personal sims. If that makes sense? If you only want YOUR sims to populate the town, then I suggest using both. If you are okay with the occasional random sim, then you don't have to use it. I hope that makes sense 🤎

It is really easy 🤎 Once your save file is complete, save your game one last time... then go into your "Sims 4" folder > go to the "Saves" folder > and copy the most recent file that you saved (there should be a time/date to indicate newly saved files). I hope this helps!
