Good morning , I use excel to sign Contractors in on a daily basis, is there a way that I can get the Contractors name to populate on every page. So far they only populate if I am on the same page that they are originally typed on. I use several sheets everyday, but I have to type the names in repeatedly every day is there away that I won't have to type the names in everyday?

Hello Von, yes there is away. If I understand you correctly you have several tabs. You can link a cell in each sheet to the first sheet where you add the persons name and it will populate all of the sheets in the same cell. Please let me know if this make sense. Maybe I can do a video on how to do that.

This was good I enjoyed that I was able to learn how to make my spreadsheet more structured and professional like :-) my only suggestion would to put arrows and bigger font in when you cant see the actual writing so it could just be like a pointer to like where it is and what it says.

Hello, I am sorry to hear that. Be sure nothing is selected, go to the View tab, Show group, and remove the checkmark from Gridlines. I hope this helps.

Hello great video,I've just made a sign In/out sheet for work. Is there any way you can use the d-pad on a laptop to sign your signature as I don't want to print it out I want to keep it on a laptop in a shared file so every one can see it .

Hello Libby, do you mean, change the orientation, if so, click the Page Layout Tab, go the the Page Setup Group, click Orientation down arrow, click Portrait. When you do this, you will need to adjust the column to fit the page. I hope this helps:)

Hello Deborah, there are templates in Excel. If you want something more specific, lease let me know if the time sheet is weekly, by weekly or monthly, and do you want a sign in and out for lunch. I can put something together.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my numbers didn't change (all showed as 2), there are no alternating colors on the rows and no lines between the columns. I will go back and see what I did wrong. One thing you may have included is to change the row heights to accommodate signatures. Nevertheless, great training video.
