You can't argue with the results. Your drawling looks excellent, no matter how you did it. For me this is highly useful. I am not an artist and I will never be one. But this software gives me the ability to produce something that would otherwise be unobtainable. I think the people complaining about this video are really complaining that it's so good. LOL!!!

I just got this program. I can figure out how to use the magic wand to select, but how do I then delete the selection? I can't find the delete button. * Edit* Never mind, I just hit cut instead. Thanks.

Maybe better to draw on Layer 1, new layer not the canvas. Subsequently if you use another Clone method you can add the brush strokes on layer 2 and so on. Otherwise you just have 'brush strokes' NOT layers as you described. Thanks.

I thought it was a great painting program. However, Lee Young-sang is questionable It's not drawing, it's just tracking. It's good for beginners, but it's not a good program for people who are really drawing. The program is good, but the purpose is not good.

I've taken some of my photos and ran them through auto paint. But then I continue playing with the "painting" afterwards. This feature is at its best when you treat it like a partner rather then letting it do most of the work like he did.

I think it is a great program, but I think Corel should spend more resources to upgrade their watercolor and oil painting tools instead of adding "cheating" features like photo art or AI art. These features are bullshit! I have been learning Corel Painter and I like some parts of it.

@@cisp360 I'm the same as you think.I agree. Watercolors and oil painting tools are the greatest attraction of Corel.They will make the charm of this program disappear. I'm disappointed.Features such as photo art and ai art will fade the existence of Corel. But it doesn't matter to me anymore.I will go back to hand painting.

@@PaintingErr_1 Nothing can replace real materials. I have been trying all painting softwares for digital watercolor but nothing come close to the feeling of real watercolor. Like you, I just took out my brushes and paper to paint a watercolor piece, and the feeling was so good. In addition, real paint looks a thousand times better. Think about the time you went to an art museum to enjoy arts :) That said, digital painting has it use to me too. I use it to sketch out ideas and composition. And sometime when I am lazy, I just draw with my digital painting apps instead of real paint. I look at your channel and you seem to use mostly corel painter. Have you ever try Rebelle 4 or expresii? How about clip studio paint? I have these apps and I love them all. I bought corel painter 9 years ago but I never used it. Only this month that I am taking a class which requires corel painter. I upgraded to Corel Painter 2021, and I have been testing it. The thick paint looks very nice though, even better than my beloved Rebelle 4. I also tested some other tools in painters and they work great. So, if we just ignore the photoart and AI craps, Corel Painter is a good program. I only hope that Corel know what it is doing or there will be no more corel painter in the future. Even right now I wonder how many professional artist are using Corel Painter. If you do a google search, you will see that there are not as many things about corel painter as there are things about Clip Studio Paint or Photoshop. In addition, Corel charges $29 for about 15 brush presets is ridiculous!

Try using a picture you took. Then treat this like adding a filter before you start working on it. The way he used it is being lazy.
