Staging is a common term, which just means a trial area or testing grounds. In this video, we show you how to create a staging version of your own website, so you can play around with it, or share it with support staff to get help. Do note that the methods we show in this video work only for your website, and you will not be able to copy anyone else's website with this method. The method is easy, quick, and free. ​@@SweetSuccessDiaries Sorry I missed your message. Honestly, I can't remember the exact details of what I did to figure it out. I remember I did try using plugins like All in One Migration and WP Staging, but ran into issues on both accounts. One left me slightly paralyzed. Thes site wouldn't load and access to the website in bluehost was non-existent. I ended up learning how to move files manually inside of bluehost's file manager to finally fix it. It was not fun (because of the site being down), but it was a lesson in figuring out the file structure rather than relying on a plugin. These plugins and hosting plans are designed to force you into upcharges so trying to avoid payments can lead to these types of problems. I think the best advice to give is to keep backups through every step. If you can't risk any site down time then just pay for the upcharge. Or google around for how/ where to move the files. It's honestly not that hard too, but scary when the site goes down. Side note....Bluehost was also supposed to have a staging capability in their hosting. I did try this initially, but it just did not work at all. Not sure why. It definitely was advertised to work. Regardless, I hope you found an answer for your issue a month ago. Best of luck!

If you make changes to your staging site.. let's say you want to see if a plugin causes conflicts.... and everything looks ok... do you need to re-do the installation on your main site, or does WP STAGING have a push to main site function?

​You can create as many staging sites as you like, all available from the same domain, such as domain.com/staging1, domain.com/staging2 and so on.

Hello there, Backups are usually created by your hosting to recover in cases where your content is lost. While Staging site is a replica of your live environment that helps update and test new changes in plugins, themes, or core WordPress before updating them on the Live environment. HELPP !!! first of all, thank you for your help, I've done my staging sites and it worked great. Then I wanted to import everything I've done on staging site to my original site. I've used updraft plugin to export and import. But when I imported database of staging site to original site, original site has turned into staging with stagings' domain. Now I cant find my original site, It is missing. Please Help me. How can I solve this issue. It's like sites are in limbo.

Ersin, that wasn't the right approach. You should have re-created your steps on the main website instead. I'd recommend restoring from a backup is your best bet right now.
