I recently signed up for college with my degree in legal studies, I was told by my instructor that it would be okay to start looking for positions so today I've called around and have two interviews next week. I look forward to your videos they're very helpful. I plan on going to law school to be a attorney but for now I'm looking to start as a legal assistant. Hi! I’m currently getting out of the marine corps and have 3 years in a leadership position and 1 year worth of training, I only have one year of college done and am trying to get an internship as a legal secretary or assistant do you think only being a year into school hurt me despite my military experience

Hello! I think your military experience will definitely help you get an legal internship. I have a friend who is also in the Marine Corp and all her internships/ employers loved the fact that she was in the military! I think when you get the interview, you should talk about how your responsibilities/skills in that position will help you be successful at your job!

Hi! I don’t think it should. However, they will most likely ask why you are interested in the job and what your goals are.
