Hey guys! There was some issues with the link taking you to a database that wasn't functioning correcting. That has been fixed so the template can be used now! Let me know if run into any issues.

Thanks for this fresh content and not another faceless walkthrough. I like the idea of recapturing missed tasks. I’m creating a callout for overdue tasks to keep those in view. I also keep the done callout hide so not to distract from what I need to see. This callout helps with my 1-on-1 reviews and evaluations.

Thank you for making this tutorial, Up until now my Notion task management was a mess, and before you made this tutorial, I never knew about the existence of "copy link to view". What I did prior to this video is duplicating the same database and arrange them within the same page.

Yeah, that's also what I did at first. Watched a video and then I started using copy link to view. It's very useful

Love to hear it man! Glad to see that it's working. Let me know if you have any questions. I forgot to mention that you can hide the filter buttons by clicking filters. You might already know that.

Hey Micah, just found your channel and love your stuff - I wanted to ask about your portfolio (I know you have a video from a year ago) but what did you use as source of information to learn about things such as mutual funds / REITs etc

Hey thanks for the comment! In the beginning I probably was just watching KZbin videos on different topics. Also, Investopedia is great for making complex topics very simple. The book Random Walk Around Wall St. was one of my very first finance books I read. But yeah KZbin probably taught me the most in the beginning.

@@micahschultz2981 ah great, thanks so much mate! There’s so much information out there it’s hard to know what to trust but I’ll definitely have a look at that site and probably the book too !

Thanks for the video. Very helpful. My task board has dividers appearing between each section. How do I get rid of it ?
@micahschultz2981
@micahschultz2981 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment! When you say between each section do you mean between the different priority levels (Brain Dump, ASAP, This Week, etc)? Or do you mean between the categories (tasks, category, due date, etc)? Let me know and I'll try to be of assistance!

Hi Mecah, great video. I have a question for you. I've downloaded you template. How do I replace your database in the template with my database so I can use the template? I just can't figure out how to do that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
@micahschultz2981
@micahschultz2981 Жыл бұрын
Hey! Are you saying that you already have a task database? If you do, I would just follow the tutorial of copying it and creating a linked view till you have your different priority sections. It also might be easier to just create the template and then add those tasks into it. I'm not sure there would be a seemless way to integrate your existing database into my template. Let me know if that didn't answer your question.
@barryvideoyt

@@micahschultz2981 Yes, I do have an existing database. I thought that may have the been the answer. I'll be giving your suggestions shortly. Thanks again for the great video, Micah! I'm looking for more of these kinds of videos.

@@micahschultz2981 Hi. It's between the different priority sections - right above the callout is a grey bar. If I try to delete the linked database info is gone; only the callout remains.

@@HeidiSchmidt-n2g Not exactly sure what is happening, but maybe try using link again and duplicate the template. The only other thing I can think of is the filters showing which you can turn off
